“Marciana is the second DJ project from Marcia, also known as Back to Mars.

Marcia started playing Psytrance as Back to Mars in 2001, but soon after also started playing sets in many alternative styles. She began with Lounge & Psybient, Brazilian music and World Music, but quickly also incorporated Tech-House, Deep House, Techno, Psy-Tech, Psy-Breaks and even Soul, Funk and Jazz.

Recently it became a natural development to create a separate project to represent these styles and Marciana was created! Under this project she is now representing Electric Power Pole Records.

She has performed in many Amsterdam locations like Siberie, Kashmir Lounge, Nomads, Supperclub Cruise, Little Buddha, Kokopelli, Roest, Blijburg, Pllek and also at parties and festivals like Magneet, Club Lite, Bevrijdings Festival, MoDem, O.Z.O.R.A., Own Spirit, Gaggalacka and Psy-Fi. For a while she organized the Bite nights at the Korsakoff in Amsterdam, where many DJ’s were invited to play Techno and Tech House.

Being an eclectic DJ in any style that she plays, this lady likes to play the Marciana sets since they are fun. With so mush good music being released all around, why make choices?”
