It is a pleasure to have people like you motivated to bring Own Spirit Festival 2023 to life through your voluntary collaboration. Contributing your great work during the celebration of the event helps us to sustain it and offer quality to our public. In addition, you will be able to enjoy your free time at the festival while getting to know it from the inside.
You must take into account the harsh working conditions that occur due to the high temperatures of the summer season, the conditioning of the natural environment in which we find ourselves and the physical demands of some of the activities. It is important to prepare yourself physically and psychologically (sun protection, hat to cover your head, rest, eat well, stay hydrated, etc.).
But the most important thing is that participating as a volunteer makes you an indispensable part of this project that unites many people with the common goal of making Own Spirit Festival 2023 a reality. You will meet people, have fun and have a transformative and rewarding full of learning.
Below we explain the conditions, requirements and procedures to apply as a volunteer during the event.

PROCESS
The request can be made through the web form that you have below.
Once you have sent the form to participate as a volunteer, you will receive an automatic response confirming that we have received your request. From here, you will have to wait for us to contact you.
In the confirmation email you will receive the steps to follow to formalize your participation. The entrance fee for volunteers is €135, which you must pay as we indicate in the email.
If you have obtained a ticket in any of the phases or through a promotion, it will be accepted as a valid ticket and the refund will be made based on the amount paid in that case. You must send us said entry in order to formalize your participation.
In case of not paying the amount within the term, new requests will be accepted and you will lose the right to reserve. Seats will be filled in order of entry.
Once the payment is made, the person responsible for the area in which you will work will contact you to let you know how your volunteering will work during the event.
If you complete the assigned work during the agreed period, you will be refunded the full amount once the event is over. The procedure will be indicated later.
TYPES OF VOLUNTEERS
– Covid-19 security measures: compliance with all security measures established by health and government authorities will be mandatory. When this is not fulfilled, the volunteer agreement may be terminated and could be a reason for the loss of the refund, in case of having previously purchased a ticket.
– Cancellation due to Covid-19 or force majeure: in case of cancellation of the event due to the pandemic or any other situation external to the organization, the volunteer agreement will be canceled. If a ticket has been previously purchased, it will be valid for the next edition, either to participate as a volunteer or attend as a public (depending on the type of ticket you got). You can also request a refund of the amount during the two weeks after the official cancellation, which will be refundable from one month after said cancellation. This will be applicable only if previously you have been officially accepted as a volunteer, so it is not worth just having sent the application.
– Availability: each volunteer must work at the event for at least 24 hours divided into several shifts to obtain a refund of the ticket fee. The hours per shift will depend on the area in which it collaborates. Normally there will be 2 shifts of 4 or 6-hour. Each area will also decide from what day to which day they will have to be at the festival and if there is a training or meeting prior to starting volunteering. As a general rule, availability will have to be available from one day before it begins until one day after the end of the event.
– Entrance to the event: To obtain the entrance ticket to the event, you will have to pay within the established deadlines, an amount of € 135. Once the payment receipt has been sent, the ticket will be sent to you. You can also provide proof of purchase of an entry for any phase.
– Signing of the contract: upon arrival at the event, all volunteers must pass through the point of attention to the volunteers to sign the contract and confirm their arrival.
– Return of the ticket amount: To receive the refund of the ticket amount, you must have completed your volunteer shifts in your area. We will verify that you have made all the shifts. The exact return procedure will be reported later.
– Meals: Each volunteer will receive one meal per shift worked. The rest of the meals are paid by each volunteer.
– Accommodation: You must bring your own camping equipment (tent, bag, van, caravan…) throughout your stay.
-Displacement: The transport is paid by the volunteer and you must arrive by your own means.
– Volunteer work: There will be a responsible person in charge of informing you of your tasks and work schedules, as well as the general functioning during those days. If you cannot do any of the shifts, you must inform them. If you need something or have any suggestions, you can also contact this person.
– Pets: Under no circumstances may you attend the volunteer or the festival with pets, this will immediately terminate the volunteer agreement and will be grounds for loss of reimbursement. Only duly certified guide dogs or emotional support animals may access the site (including the camping area).
– Loss of the right to refund the amount: The ticket will not be refunded, in the following cases:
- Delay when attending a shift.
- Do not attend any of the assigned shifts.
- Appear under the effect of a drug that may compromise the proper development of your task.
- Inappropriate or even violent behavior towards colleagues, public or any member of the organization.
- Bringing any pet to the event.

Las tareas serán principalmente poner y cortar pulseras.
– Perfil del voluntario: fuerza, capacidad para hacer un trabajo mecánico, agilidad.
– Turnos de voluntariado: 2 turnos, 6 horas cada turno.
– Disponibilidad: del 19 (9am) al 23 de Agosto (incluído) de 2022.
parking
Las tareas principales a realizar será la gestión del área de aparcamiento y acampada, ayudar a las personas que llegan y salen en sus vehículos y la distribución del espacio.
– Perfil del voluntario: Se valorará la visión espacial, las habilidades organizativas, la atención al público y la energía física.
– Turnos de voluntariado: 2 turnos, 6 horas cada turno.
– Disponibilidad: del 19 (9am) al 23 de Agosto (incluído) de 2022.
COCINA
Las tareas principales serán la preparación del desayuno, comida, merienda y cena para trabajadores, artistas y voluntarios, y/o realizarás tareas de auxiliar de cocina en los restaurantes y teterías del festival. Eso implica que tendréis que preparar y cocinar los alimentos, mantener limpia y organizada la cocina y el almacén, recibir a los proveedores y organizar los productos que llegan.
– Perfil del voluntario: con experiencia en cocina, entregados, proactivos y con iniciativa.
– Disponibilidad: Del 13 al 19 de Julio de 2022, ambos incluídos.
psycare
Como voluntario deberás acompañar a personas que están atravesando una experiencia difícil vinculada a la experiencia transformativa de Own Spirit, o también asociada al consumo de sustancias psicoactivas, malestar físico por las condiciones medioambientales o falta de sueño, u otras situaciones de malestar emocional derivadas de algún conflicto. El voluntario o voluntaria deberá realizar una formación inicial de 4 horas a parte de las 24 horas de colaboración pactadas.
– Perfil del voluntario: preferiblemente personas con formación y⁄o experiencia en el campo de la psicología, la psicoterapia, la relación de ayuda y áreas relacionadas (psicólogos, psicoterapeutas, terapeutas, médicos, enfermeras, trabajadores sociales, etc) y como prioridad aquellos que tengan conocimientos y⁄o experiencia en el campo de los estados ampliados de consciencia y los psicodélicos. Preferiblemente con un mínimo de trabajo personal y autoconocimiento (psicoterapia, meditación, terapias alternativas, estados ampliados de consciencia…).
– Disponibilidad: del 14 al 18 de julio, (ambos incluidos) de 2022
infopoint
Las tareas principales a realizar serán las de atender las dudas del público que se presente en el punto de información e informar a la persona responsable de las posibles incidencias que se puedan dar.
– Perfil del voluntario: se valorará el conocimiento de idiomas, habilidades comunicativas, proactivo, resolutivo.
– Disponibilidad: Del 13 al 18 de julio de 2022, ambos días incluídos. Preferiblemente desde el día 12 al 20.
bares
Las tareas principales a realizar serán las de servir bebidas, rellenar las neveras, reponer material y cargar y descargar los productos que llegan.
– Perfil del voluntario: se valorará la experiencia en barra, idiomas, y habilidades comunicativas. Es imprescindible ir apropiadamente vestido (camiseta, calzado cómodo, etc.). No está permitido el consumo de bebidas durante el turno de trabajo.
– Disponibilidad: Se debe estar una hora antes del primer turno asignado en la barra para recibir una formación. Esta hora de formación no se descuenta del turno de trabajo. Del 13 al 19 de julio de 2022.
Cashless
Es el punto para recargar las pulseras con dinero para hacer pagos en todo el festival. Dentro de las tareas de los voluntarios está la gestión de dinero, y la atención al público.
– Perfil del voluntario: se pide responsabilidad, y se priorizará la capacidad matemática y de gestión, habilidades comunicativas, y capacidad para la multitarea.
