Arökem is a world music psychedelic project from France, created by Pierre, member of Matibhrama, formed in 2014. His musical style combines world music from all around the globe (Orient, South America, Africa, Asia…) and western electronic music like trance, downtempo, ambient, etc, Many acoustic instruments are used for the composition like guitar, rubab, different kind of flutes, drum, voice… His Music is influenced by rituals, traditional music and psychedelic movement.
